VTCT Level 1 Diploma In Retail Skills
Course Summary
VTCT Level 1 Diploma in Retail Skills is a qualification that will provide learners with the basic knowledge and skills to enable them to work within the retail sector.
Learners will learn how to work effectively within a retail team and may also cover workplace health and safety, security, stock control and how to process orders, returns and deliveries for customers. Learners may also learn aspects of food safety within this sector and skills for working at a food serving counter within a retail establishment, for example a bakery or delicatessen. Learners may learn the skills to assemble and dress visual merchandising displays and the knowledge to deal with money and age-restricted products within a retail environment.
On successful completion of this qualification learners will have the appropriate attributes needed to work within a retail environment.
