Introduction

We have put together this prospectus to provide information on the non-accredited and accredited courses we offer to schools to support educational needs for all senior school students.

​

Established in 2008, L&F Training provides education with passion and pride, dedicated to enhancing students' learning. Since that time we have worked successfully with school partnerships delivering a variety of tailor-made packages and GCSE equivalent qualifications to meet the needs of both students and schools. 

​

For many different reasons, young people may start to, or fully, disengage within school and therefore need an alternative route or environment in which to learn. We specialise in supporting these students, helping them to re-engage with education and overcome any difficulties; allowing them to develop goals and softer skills required in life to become a valued member of society. Our education provides them with all the tools that will enable them to return to full-time education, start an apprenticeship or career path within their chosen industry, and prepare them for the next stage in their lives.

Our bespoke packages are specifically designed to build confidence and self-worth within these young people, aiding them to have an understanding of the world and the career opportunities that are available to them. We guide each individual through their opportunities, offering impartial careers advice to support students in making informed choices about their future pathways. Our educators are carefully chosen and come from a variety of industry, trade and professional backgrounds. Some are selected for their experience in teaching environments, others for their compassion, qualities and abilities that will enable them to engage successfully, with the challenging young people with whom they are allocated to work.

Summary

​

Every young person should be given the opportunity to dream of a future, that’s why here at L&F Training we continue to add courses to our repertoire, to ensure we are able to cater for any individual.  

​

We also believe that every individual should be given the opportunity to fully engage with the course they have chosen and therefore, on many of our courses, we only have a maximum of 8 places on any one provision. However, we specialise in providing one to one provision and supervised work experience placements. Please Note: Work experience placements can only be arranged for those young people aged 14 and above.
